The Newport Running Club organizes the annual Pie Run held Thanksgiving morning, in Middletown, RI.  This year's race will be on Thursday, November 27, 2014, starting promptly at 8:30 am.  The 5 mile USATF sanctioned road race and 3 mile non-competitive walk starts and ends in front of the Newport County YMCA, 792 Valley Road, and is a scenic course with panoramic views of Sachuest Beach.
 
Entrants are asked to bring one non-perishable food item to be contributed to a local food bank. 
 
Long sleeve technical shirts are available for all preregistered participants whose registrations are received prior to November 11th, 2014. 
  
Entry cost is $30 for the 5 mile run, $25 for the 3 mile non-competitive walk, both pre and post registration.
