This 5k Run/Walk is to enhance the Dennis M. Lynch Jr. Memorial Scholarship Fund at St. Raphael Academy.  Dennis was a standout athlete a scholar and a dynamic student leader. He graduated as the Valedictorian of the Class of 74 and went on to graduate from Providence College. He returned to 'Saints' to serve as the head basketball coach.  Dennis was a role model for many young people.  Sadly he passed away at the age of 33 - leaving a void in the lives of many, especially that of his son, Dylan.  To continue the legacy he created, family and friends established the Dennis M. Lynch, Jr. 74 Memorial Scholarship at St. Raphael Academy in Pawtucket, RI.  This Scholarship provides the opportunity for young adults to follow in the footsteps of Dennis.  Hundreds of students - both male and female - have benefitted as a result of the financial assistance they have received from this fund.  Please consider joining us on 6/21/15 and be a part of something special.
