The Park View Middle School community is once again excited to coordinate a community service project to benefit our school and the veterans of the United States Military.We are pleased to announce that we will be sponsoring the sixth annual Park View Veterans Day 5K Race/Walk. Once again, the race will be held at Roger Williams Park on Sunday, November 11, 2018. This event is being held on Veterans Day to honor all those who have served and sacrificed for our country. A portion of the money will be donated to Operation Stand Down Rhode Island, an organization whose mission is to help homeless and at risk veterans secure stable housing as well as other assistance. The remaining portion of the money will be used to provide the students from Park View with valuable extracurricular activities.
