The Annual KIAI 5K event attracts hundreds of competitive and recreational runners and walkers of all ages from throughout New England.

The route is a United States Track and Field (USTAF) officially certified and sanctioned course starting off of High Street in downtown Wakefield, winding through nearby peaceful residential neighborhoods. 

This fun-filled, family friendly event is the primary funding source for our scholarship program and something you can be proud to participate in. There are always awards for finishers in all age categories and lots of raffle prizes to try your luck at winning generously donated by local vendors and businesses. Due to the ongoing success of this event, KIAI has provided over $120,000 in financial assistance to deserving youth and families. We hope to see you there!
