This event is a 5K color run being held at Glen Park in Portsmouth Rhode Island by a senior at Portsmouth High School. Race starts at 10AM on Saturday, March 16th with a rain date of Saturday, March 23rd (10AM). 

Participants will follow a well marked trail through woods and grassy fields while non toxic colored powder is tossed into the air, transforming everyone into bright and colorful runners! This run is a fundraiser for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in which all profits will be donated to the LLS.

The fundraiser is being conducted to help understand how public fundraisers assist non profit organizations in achieving their goals. The organizer of the event is Nicholas Yalanis, a graduating senior from Portsmouth High School who has spent the last 4 years running this course with the school's cross country team.
