Virtual Race - ALS Association Summer Run Series

The Summer Run Series to End ALS, #RuntoEndALS, is an opportunity to join a community of people who are staying active and making their miles even more meaningful.

Throughout the summer holiday weekends (Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day), we’re encouraging supporters to get outside and get moving (with appropriate social distancing, of course)! Choose 1-mile, 5k, or 10k over the weekend to run, walk, or roll to help your neighbors affected by ALS in your community.

Memorial Day - Friday, May 22 - Monday, May 25

4th of July - Friday, July 2 - Monday, July 6

Labor Day - Friday, September 4 - Monday, September 7

Your participation in the #RuntoEndALS helps local persons living with ALS and their loved ones manage the staggering emotional, financial, and physical burdens of the disease with free programs and services to increase quality of life. Your efforts also support global research to find treatments and a cure as well as advocating for legislation to ensure access to needed care.

During your race, please take the time to think of those people affected by ALS who are no longer able to run or walk or are no longer with us. Remember YOUR why.

Appreciate the beauty around you and capture that magic in a photo or short video. Share your photo or video with the ALS community by posting it to social media with the hashtag #RunToEndALS. Not only is this a great way to encourage others to get outside but it’s an easy way to remind your family, friends, and followers that while there are so many worthy charity organizations out there, YOU have chosen to support the ALS community and they can too.
