The Lifespan Cancer Institute will hold its annual Malloy Strong Run/Walk on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 9:00am at City Park in Warwick, RI. Funds generated from the event will directly assist in offsetting treatment costs of patients currently undergoing cancer treatment. Financial distress is often experienced due to high out-of-pocket expenditures during treatment as well as from the necessity of taking time off from work. We are actively seeking partner organizations to serve as event sponsors, thereby helping us to financially, physically and emotionally assist patients through cancer treatment.

This exciting event features a competitive 5k race along with a recreational run/walk on the beautiful grounds of City Park in Warwick, RI. Following the race, there will be an awards ceremony along with refreshments, music and family activities for all to enjoy.

The Lifespan Cancer Institute includes cancer care provided by Rhode Island Hospital, The Miriam Hospital, Newport Hospital, and our East Greenwich & Lincoln Ambulatory Care satellite offices.
