Calling all beginners! Have you recently thought about training for a 5k? Do you have no idea where to start? We can help! We've put together a 14 week training plan to get you prepared to race the Gaspee Days 5k! The training plan begins March 10th shortly after the info session on March 5th and has been put together by our coaches Eric Lonergan and Ray Sikorowicz.
Ray and Eric will be organizing the beginner group practices weekly beginning Tuesday March 10th at 6pm. They have tons of experience both running and coaching and they will supply you with advice and tips throughout your training. We can answer any questions you may have on the evening of the 5th and via email as well. We do not want anyone to feel intimidated! This is going to be a fun experience for everyone involved! We've run this program for a few years now and have seen folks make new friends, accomplish their goals and have a blast doing it.
